    PRAIRIEFIRE: Service restored


    PRAIRIEFIRE maintenance is complete. If you were running jobs on the cluster prior to the shutdown, please login and restart them. PRAIRIEFIRE is now using different (improved) network file servers - if you experience problems with I/O on the system please let us know.

    This is a reminder that PRAIRIEFIRE is scheduled to be shutdown for filesystem maintenance at approx. 10am


    PRAIRIEFIRE will be shutdown to migrate filesystems to higher performing hardware. All running jobs will be stopped. This shutdown is expected to last 2-4 hours but could be considerably shorter. Another announcement will given when the system is operational again.

    PRAIRIEFIRE will be shutdown on Monday, December 20 (~10am) for maintenance. All running jobs will be killed. Shutdown is expected to last 4-6 hours.

    Firefly is now available for use. The mechanical maintenance was completed successfully. During this outage, running jobs were terminated as this outage involved a full cluster shutdown.
