    Tusker is again available after maintenance. Please check your jobs, and inform us if there is any trouble at hcc-support@unl.edu. /home quotas are now per user at 10 GB (this is also implemented on Crane).


  • 2015-03-03:  HCC Tusker Downtime Extended - March 3, 2015

    Needed maintenance and the associated downtime for Tusker is nearly complete. We anticipate the machine will be back online later this evening (3/3/15), but may go into the next day. Further updates will be appended to this message.


    Nodes updated, should be opened back up shortly.

  • 2015-02-25:  HCC Tusker Downtime Planned - March 3, 2015

    This outage for software maintenance affects Tusker only.

    Jobs which cannot complete before March 3rd at 9:00am will be held in queue until the maintenance is complete. We anticipate this work will be finished by 6:00pm the same day.


    To minimize the impact to running jobs we are declaring a downtime for Tusker to complete this work. We will use this maintenance window to update various software components across the cluster. The Tusker login node will also be updated and will require users to log off. Users will be denied access to the Tusker login node until the maintenance is completed.
